Our application to the Broadband Initiatives Program (BIP) and Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) is currently under review.

The Northern Fiber Optic Link will bring broadband connectivity to western Alaska via a submarine fiber optic cable network benefiting over 140 communities in a strategically important, yet remote, region of the US. It will greatly enhance telemedicine, distance learning, and economic development, and advance scientific research in the Arctic Ocean and Bering Sea. The project will directly involve almost 6,000 jobs across 23 states.
